Here’s Our Story:
Do you know a woman that stretches herself too thin? Do you have a wife, mother, or friend that is struggling to balance work and family? In 2004, Jennifer Leete discovered a way to make it possible. She had a dream (literally, in the middle of the night), $1500, and a mother’s determination, and grew it in to a local “mom-culture” almost overnight.
Featuring her handmade and organic bath products, Bubble Goddess is not just soap; it’s a way of life. Jennifer wanted to pamper and inspire women, nourish their souls, and educate them about the toxins in commercial bath products. She created in home “Spa Experiences” for women to gather together, relax, soak their feet, receive a hand massage, and recharge– complimentary. The Spa Experience connects with women on such a deep level, that many are brought to tears. They are just overworked, stressed, and pushed to the max. It’s giving them the gift of time, all to themselves. They also learn how to create a Spa Experience in their home for just pennies, and the impact they can make by choosing products free of toxins and carcinogens. After the Spa Experience, each client’s order is delivered to their home wrapped in tissue paper like a special gift from a friend, and topped with an affirmation card. Jennifer believes each client receives the affirmation card they need most at that very moment. It’s these special touches that make every client feel unique and cherished.
But, Bubble Goddess doesn’t stop there. As the company grew, Jennifer needed help. It wasn’t hard finding other women like her that were seeking financial freedom and a flexible schedule. The company’s Consultants (all women) not only receive financial compensation and a flexible schedule, Jennifer invests in them by building their business and life skills–for free. They enjoy weekly Business and Life Coaching Sessions, a monthly Business Book Club, even an annual retreat so her team can also recharge and be pampered. Jennifer explains, “It’s just my way of giving back to the women that believe in me, and help me grow Bubble Goddess each day.”
Giving back has been fundamental to their success. You’ll also find this grassroots company supporting their local Charity Partner, Kids Mobility Network. They raise funds annually with a “spa marathon”, to help children with physical disabilities get the medical equipment they need. It is important to the team that they support a local, grassroots charity, the way so many have supported Bubble Goddess Bath Co.
The ultimate goal is to make every woman in America a “Bubble Goddess”. This work is important because it’s reaffirming that it is ok to take time for yourself. It’s helping women achieve their personal and professional goals, while being the women and mothers they want to be. It’s a Bathing Revolution, and at Bubble Goddess Bath Co. it’s just their small way of changing the world, one Spa Experience at a time.
